Sailboats waiting for bridge to open

Had dinner out on the docks at Kvarnholmen tonight. The sunset overlooking Old town was really something else. The sailboats where waiting for the Danvikstull bridge to open.

After rain comes sunshine

After a day of rain, this magic sunset appeared and painted all the houses redish gold for a short while. This is a view of Söder Mälarstrand, Münchenbryggeriet to the left.

Winter afternoon at Kvarnholmen

This new spot on the map has the best view of Södermalm and Stockholm at sunset.  The docks at Kvarnholmen used to be a closed of area. It´s now open for everyone and it´s a short boatride away from Nybroplan. Lots of construction going on still but it´s worth a visit at sunset. The commuter-boat Gurli takes you right to this spot.
